Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy governs refund and cancellation conditions for both content creators and learners using the Kapeeto platform.

For Learners (Subscribers to Creator Content)

  • 1. Subscription Charges
    • Subscriptions are billed automatically on a monthly recurring basis.
    • Billing is processed securely via Stripe.
  • 2. Cancellation
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings.
    • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will occur.
  • 3. Refund Eligibility
    • We want to ensure fairness and transparency. Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

      ✅ Eligible, if no substantial content was accessed

      Cancellation after 7 days or with significant usage

      🔍 Evaluated on a case-by-case basis

      Subscriptions via promotion or trial

      ❌ Non-refundable unless legally required

      Technical issues caused by Kapeeto

      ✅ Fully refundable upon verification

    To request a refund, please email support@kapeeto.com with your:

    • Object: Refund
    • Full name
    • Subscription ID, and in case course URL
    • Reason for request

    All refunds are subject to Stripe’s processing times and policies.

For Content Creators (Paying for AI or Platform Access)

Creators may purchase subscriptions, tokens, or usage plans to access AI features, content generation tools, or course publishing capabilities.

  • 1. Billing Terms
    • All creator plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the selected tier.
    • Token-based purchases (e.g. for AI usage) are pay-as-you-go and billed upfront.
  • 2. Cancellation
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Creator dashboard.
    • Upon cancellation, you retain access for the remainder of your billing cycle.
    • Auto-renewal will be disabled.
  • 3. Refund Conditions

    ✅ Full refund available

    Subscription cancelled after token use or AI interactions

    ❌ Non-refundable

    Technical malfunction or platform outage

    🔍 Partial or full refund upon verification

    Accidental duplicate charge

    ✅ Fully refundable upon confirmation

    To initiate a refund, contact support@kapeeto.com with your:

    • Creator ID or email
    • Payment reference
    • Description of issue

    Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days.

Legal and Administrative Notes

  • All refunds are discretionary and processed in accordance with Austrian law and EU consumer protection directives.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Kapeeto OG reserves the right to refuse refund claims that involve misuse, repeated abuse, or fraudulent behavior.
